Park ban stuns tax paying Sandgrounders

For the second bank holiday in a row gutted tourists have been turned away from the gates of Victoria Park.

Park bosses have yet again inexplicably shut the huge park for a caravan event over most of May.

Only those with an access code can get in through padlocked gates and thousands of disappointed tourists and Sandgrounders will be turned away from their own park this weekend.

Last week children tried to climb the gates but were chased off by park wardens.
