Paramedics treat woman collapsed on West Street, Southport
Emergency services were called to West Street this afternoon after shoppers discovered a woman passed out near Wayfarer’s Arcade.
Paramedics rushed to treat the woman fearing she was suffering from sun stroke, although a nearby shop owner told OTS News that he suspected she was intoxicated after seeing her stumble by minutes before.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and transferred her into a waiting ambulance.
She is currently at Southport Hospital on a saline drip recouperating.
