Paramedics treat woman hit by car on Cambridge Road, Churchtown

Paramedics treated a woman for minor injuries after she was struck by a car in Cambridge Road earlier today, Thursday 24 May 2018.

The elderly woman was hit by a car near to Churchtown Medical Centre shortly before 12pm this afternoon.

Police closed off part of the road to allow paramedics to treat the victim for injuries.

She was assessed at the scene but it was later decided she did not need further treatment in hospital.
