Safety campaigners are calling on the council to remove tonnes of overgrown leaves and weeds from trees along a busy stretch of road in Southport.
The tree lined Albert Road is now so overgrown with shrubbery from the lockdown that it is creating a blind spot for drivers after pedestrians walk out from behind the cover of foliage
Campaigners have said they would like the council to address the situation straight away before there Is a potentially life threatening accident.
