Ormskirk Motorfest 2015, Photographs by Jon Hart – reason2design, Southport

Crowds assembled in Ormskirk as more than 350 cars and motorcycles lined up in displays across the town centre and in Coronation Park.

The fifth annual Ormskirk Motorfest took place this afternoon, with Formula 1 displays, competitions and cars and motorbikes from a variety of brands and eras.

The display featured eye-catching models such as a 1978 Williams Formula 1 car, and a Tatuus Formula Renault car, the type in which many of the current Formula 1 drivers started their careers, including double world champion Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo.

Members of the public were able to ride around the autosolo course with top North West competitors, in exchange for a donation to the North West Air Ambulance Service.
