A rare sighting of a roe deer venturing onto the railway line near Southport has left some nature lovers puzzled.
With less people on the streets and less cars on the road, more and more sightings of wildlife have been recorded but the most recent is the most baffling after an amateur photographer managed to capture a Roe Deer sprinting along the rail line in Southport.
The odd sighting was captured near to St Luke’s bridge as the young deer bounced along the track which has been all but unused in recent weeks as a result of the lockdown.
