Ofsted & CQC to conduct visit of Sefton’s SEND services

3rd April 2019

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will carry out jointly a re-visit of Sefton’s Special Educational Needs or Disability Services, following the previous inspection that took place in November 2016.

This re-visit will take place between Monday April 15 and Wednesday April 17, 2019

During the re-visit, Ofsted and CQC inspectors will be keen to speak to as many children and young people and their parents and carers as possible to gather their views on the service offered.

The survey will open at 12 noon on Monday 08 April 2019 and close at 12 noon on Tuesday 16 April 2019.

An open meeting will take place on Monday 15th April 2019, 4pm to 6.30pm, at the Sefton PDC, 25 Park Rd, Formby, Liverpool L37 6EW. Parents and carers can contact their local Parent Carer Forum to request details of how to be part of the discussions between parents and carers and the Ofsted/CQC re-visit team.
