Obituary | Frank Warner

The family of Frank Warner would like to sadly announce that he passed away on the 29 August, aged 92.

Frank was well known in the local football community. Having founded the Dale’s football team in 1971, he also in later years ran a team for Ainsdale Juniors. He was fixture secretary for the Southport & District amateur football league and was elected for president of the Southport & District amateur football league charity cup competition.

Frank’s funeral will take place on Thurs 15th September, 2.00pm at Birkdale Methodist Church (Red Church) followed by a service at 3.00pm at Southport Crematorium, then back to the Methodist Church for refreshments, where everyone is welcome to share their memories of Frank.

Family flowers only, but donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
