OAP loses control of her car and finishes in a field 

Emergency services were called to Ormskirk Road this morning after a woman in her 70’s lost control of her Nissan Micra and landed in a field, Wednesday 21 September 2016.

Emergency services arrived to find a car in a field opposite the Stanley Gate Pub shortly after 11.40.

The pensioner was taken to Southport DGH with minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved.
