Northwood Celebrates 4^th Year in Southport with the Acquisition of Andrew John

Northwood opened its Southport & Ormskirk office on the Eastbank Street roundabout in May 2013. Three years on and they are now the fifth largest estate agent in the area with the acquisition of local agent Andrew John.

After 5 years in business directors Andrew Rosenblatt and John Mahon have taken their business interests in a new direction. “Due to a shift in focus we have been looking for some time to transfer our property portfolio to an agent that shares both our values and our commitment to our clients”, said partner Andrew Rosenblatt. “On 18 April we transferred ownership of the business to the Southport & Ormskirk franchise, of the national company, Northwood.”

Like Andrew John, Northwood is a family business, run by franchisees Gary & Elizabeth Norman. “We are supported by an award-winning network of nearly 90 offices nationwide” said Director Gary Norman. “This year the Group celebrates it twenty first-anniversary and we pride ourselves on being a national network of local experts. We are equally proud to have been chosen by Andrew John to take over the management of their portfolio and we have been working closely together to ensure a seamless transfer. We are extremely pleased that lettings manager, Rebecca Boyd-Preece will also come across to head up our lettings department. Our sales team is led by Sales Manager Anita Dent and supported by Negotiator Elizabeth Norman. Ella Hughes has just joined us as an Administrator and we now have our own property maintenance capability run by Property Manager Mike Leigh. With our team in place and a loyal customer base all is set for a great fourth year in Southport.
