Northern lines experiencing disruption due to rain, expected all day

Speed restrictions have been placed on the entire Northern Rail network due to severe weather.

The rail operator said: “Train services running across the whole Northern network will be delayed by up to 20 minutes. Disruption is expected until 18:00 25/08.”
