The Hotel Inspector filmed at Peaky Blinders in Southport will be aired later this month.

A new episode of the Chanel 5 show ‘The Hotel Inspector’ was filmed at the Peaky Blinders bar and rooms in Southport last year.

The Channel 5 TV personality was seen filming around the Lord Street, Southport bar and enjoying drinks with friends.

The Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi helps owners with their Lord street business. John and Mel opened a draft ale bar in spring 2016 and started renervating the flats above into hostelry despite having no experience. With residence more like a building site than a hotel, Alex has to get stuck in as the first guests are set to arrive in a matter of weeks.

The Hotel Inspector sees Polizzi visiting struggling British hotels to give owners advice about how they can try to turn their fortunes around. She also often undertakes renovation projects on behalf of the hoteliers.
