A cyclist had to wait nearly an hour for an ambulance after she fell off her bike on a Preston New Road roundabout (Monday 6 November 2017).
The cyclist, believed to be in her forties, hit a bump in the road and came toppling off, causing injuries to her side and arms.
A member of the public rushed to her aid and administered medical help while calling for an ambulance. However it took well over forty minutes to arrive, meaning traffic had to slowly make its way around the casualty to avoid backing up traffic on the busy a road.
