Musical Variety Evening raised £675 for Eric’s prosthetic leg
Claire Kelly Dobson speaking on behalf of Southport Piano Academy told OTSNews.co.uk “We are thrilled to announce that so far we have raised £675 towards Eric’s fund for a prosthetic leg and donations are still coming in!
We could not be prouder of the piano pupils who played on the night, well done to all the children.
The singers who volunteered to sing were amazing as were the violin, guitar, keyboard and saxophone players. A really fun night was had by all, including a celebrity quiz in which tables of teams of 6 took part, and not forgetting the raffle with lots of prizes.
We had a fabulous turn out in the audience with all 102 seats being taken and we ended up scrambling for more chairs to accommodate people who showed up just on the night.
The evening was such a success that we have decided we will host a musical variety night every Summer in aid of a local charity.
Any local musicians who would like to take part next year please contact us
Once again well done and thank you to everyone involved who helped me to make it such a successful evening and here are just a few photos from the event.”
