A Southport Mum has had a hair raising experience with KFC after finding a three inch long hair in a meal.
Danielle Murisom was tucking into her Meal from the ocean plaza KFC when she made the gruesome follicle discovery. But after trying for a refund for the meal, valued under £20, the nightmare was only just beginning.
Danielle said: “After finding a hair in my chicken on 28-10-2017 after I went to the drive thru I contacted KFC Customer Services and thought they where dealing with my complaint! After about 6 emails I contacted them and asked if I was getting a refund of £17.58 of our family meal.
They told me the Area Manager Tom said to go in and get a refund with my receipt and letter from customer service. Having had a big operation on my foot and being in a cast I only managed to go in today.I Spoke to Apparently the Store manager a young girl who’s Customer Service Skills are absolutely shocking and in need of training! To be told she would offer me a meal. I explained to her I wanted my money back and KFC Customer Service had spoken to the Area Manager Tom who had Authorised her to do so! But Because I got a Goodwill £10 voucher from Customer Service because of the hair I found in the chicken I couldn’t have my money back. I went outside called customer service again who called the store to speak to the manager to tell her to give me my money back informed me that the store manager had already left for the day so they couldn’t speak to her. They spoke to other manager Tyler Knew who nothing about it? But I spoke to him also How convenient!! Worst Manager’s and place in southport! (Hair licking Good)”
