A furious working mum has been forced to walk miles to work because of an overzealous bus driver.
The shocked and upset lady was told she would’nt be able to get the X2 bus because the driver would not change a ten pound note.
The shocked woman was made to then walk to work from Cambridge road in Churchtown into Southport town centre where she arrived late.
Although not her fault; she was left red faced and embarrassed by the situation.
She has now launched a full complaint to Stagecoach customer services.
OTS News asked them and this is what they said:
“Our drivers are issued with a float but we have a process in place for those occasions when they can’t provide change.
“The driver may ask the customer to check back with them before they leave the bus, if they are likely to have more cash later.”
