Multiple arrests in Southport over Chistmas

Two adult females from Southport were arrested in the early hours of Christmas Eve, on suspicion of drunk driving, following reports of a car crashing into a wall on Balfour Road.

A man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly after an altercation at a bar on Lord Street in the early hours of this morning.

Another man, aged 35, from Southport was arrested in the early hours of Xmas Eve, for being drunk and disorderly, a racially aggravated public order offence & criminal damage. The arrest took place on Crescent Road.

Didn’t see the police in the town centre today? Neither did the man and woman and responsible for criminal damage to a shop window on Eastbank Street. Officers in plain clothes apprehended the pair.

Vehicle siezed was seized (above) on The Promenade for no insurance insurance.
