During the evening of Sunday 20th January 2019 a BMW motor vehicle, with a local registered keeper was pursued by officers in the Southport area.
A short while later, two males and a female from the vehicle were arrest and taken in to Custody.
Stuart Stirling (24 yrs) was later charged with Dangerous Driving, failing to stop for police and related document offences.
A second male was arrested for drug related matters and has been released ‘Under Investigation’ for further enquires.
The female who was the registered keeper of the vehicle has been released without charge.
This remains an on going investigation and further updates will follow once all enquiries have been completed.
