Merseyside Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of two girls from Southport who have been missing from home since yesterday, Friday 13 January.
Ellie Pritchard, aged 14, and Danielle Littlewood, aged 13, are both from Southport and failed to attend school yesterday. They were last seen at 6.30pm at Southport Train Station.
Extensive enquiries are being carried out to find the girls, who may have travelled together to the Bradford area of West Yorkshire.
Ellie is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and shoulder length blonde hair. When last seen, she was wearing a black coat, white t-shirt, black leggings and black shoes.
Danielle is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, with long, light brown straight hair. When last seen, she was wearing her school uniform, a grey blazer over a green shirt.
Both girls are believed to have been frequenting the Allerton and Brown Royds areas of Bradford.
Officers would urge Ellie, Danielle or anyone who has seen or heard from them since yesterday to contact (0151) 7773676, call 101 or the Missing People Charity 116 000. Alternatively they can email the charity on 116000@missing people.org.uk.
