Minor traffic disruption at Town Lane after car collides with lampost

Paramedics and police have dashed to Kew this evening after a car collided with a lamppost.

Police officers and paramedics  were alerted to the scene after a black hatchback left the road at the Town Lane Roundabout and collided with a lamppost.

The impact caused severe damage to the bonnet and engine bay of the car.

The condition of the driver or number of passengers is unknown. OTS News has reached out to Merseyside Police for comment. OTS News was also unable to confirm an independent eyewitness report that the car had struck a cyclist.

Traffic has not been diverted. Town Lane, Town Lane Kew and Blowick Moss Lane all remain open while debris is cleared.
