Millets staff out in the cold after shock closure

An outdoor clothing store is shutting down in Southport town centre.

The huge Millets outlet on Tulketh Street will be closing it’s doors after years of decline and lack of interest from shoppers.

Staff were told the bad news recently and signs have now gone up on the windows of the store to let customers know of the impending closure.

The blow is made even worse by news that Millets are opening more stores across the UK, showing that they have no faith in the town centre improving soon.
