MG Club club donates to local charities

At their Annual General meeting on January 18th, West Lancashire MG Owners Club voted to donate their charity fund, collected last year, to 3 local charities.
A total of £2000 was in the fund awaiting distribution, which is the highest total the club has ever given to charity in its 38 year history.
The 3 charities selected were, Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley, Southport Lifeboats, and Twinkle House Children’s Sensory Centre in Skelmersdale.
The first charity to receive their cheque was Derian House  this Monday, who were given £1000 and Sue Seddon, a Derain House fundraiser, was there to receive the cheque from Ralph Greenhalgh (club chair), Kim Hague and Mal Evans. The other 2 charities will be presented during the next week.
