Merseyside Police appealing for information after a burglary in a Formby shop

Merseyside Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a motor business in Formby reported yesterday, Tuesday 15 August.     

At around 9.20am, a burglary was reported at Car Care on Liverpool Road. The offence is believed to have happened some time between 6pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday. Entry was forced to the office and a small amount of cash was stolen and damage caused. 

Forensic, CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing and the business has been visited to give reassurance and crime prevention advice. 

Owner of the shop, Steve said: “I was broken into last night and a small amount of money was stolen along with all the charity boxes. They had broken a rear window to gain entrance.”
