Darryl Seerey, 23, from Wigan, is wanted by detectives who want to speak to him in relation to an assault that took place earlier this year.
Officers believe he may have information regarding an incident in Seaforth in September in which a man was threatened with a machete.
Seerey is described as white, 5ft 8in, of medium build. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
We will be issuing one wanted appeal per day until Christmas Eve to support the work of our Force Fugitive Team, so help us track these people down before Christmas.
