Merseyside fire and rescue called to Southport Pleasureland

Merseyside fire and rescue called to Southport Pleasureland after a fire started in the area of the old zoo.

It was suspected that the fire was being used to burn rubbish when it got out of hand and the emergency services had to be called. No one was injured and the blaze was quickly under control.
