Merseyrail delays hit Southport passengers 

Delays to services between Freshfield and Southport Due to a track fault between Freshfield and Southport the Southport line is disrupted.

Impact:

Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed by up to 10 minutes. Disruption is expected until 21:00 06/12.Customer Advice:Owing to track faults between Southport and Freshfield, services on the Southport to Hunts Cross Line are running, but may be delayed by approximately 10 minutes. Members of the Technical team are now on the way and are expected on site in approximately 1 hour. More information will follow as soon as it becomes available.
