Transport police and civil enforcement officers are patrolling stations and trains across the northern line today to make sure all commuters are protecting themselves.
A law has been passed making it mandatory to wear a face mask while on public transport from today.
Some stations in the resort are selling or handing out masks for commuters to wear however most are being encouraged to bring their own.
Officers are now patrolling trains and busses to ensure this rule is being adhered to and anyone caught not wearing a mask will be hit with an on the spot fine.
