Southport singer Marc Almond is set to perform for the ‘last ever time’ in synthpop duo Soft Cell at a special reunion concert in London.
Marc Almond and Dave Ball, who chalked up 10 Top 40 hits as the band before splitting in 1984, will play the O2 Arena in London on September, 30 – and tickets have gone on sale already.
Their most famous hits include ‘Say Hello, Wave Goodbye’, ‘Bedsitter’, ‘Numbers’, ‘Where The Heart Is’, ‘Torch’, ‘What!’ and their chart-topping cover of Gloria Jones’ ‘Tainted Love.’
They also reformed from 2001-2005 – but this is set to be their final show appearance.
