Man arrested following Southport nail salon immigration raid

Southport Style Nails on Hoghton street, Southport was raided by immigration officers on Monday December 12.

A Vietnamese male, age 28, was arrested after being found to be working illegally. He had previously entered the UK illegally and now must report to immigration officers while his case is progressed.

This raid comes weeks after a similar raid at Southport nail salon, Purple Nails on Eastbank street. On that ocasion Purple Nails was issued with a warning after one man was found to be working illegally after overstaying his visa.

Southport Style Nails remains open for business.
