A Male was arrested in the early hours of this morning following two burglaries in New Cut Lane, Sunday 29 November 2015.
A resident at one of the burgled houses told OTSnews:
“The man entered our house through the front door and walked into my sister’s room, he started searching through her things and she woke and kept still, then he went into the back of the property robbing an iPhone and got disturbed by my sister getting up to see what was going on. He left through the back door leaving them both wide open.”
The man then broke into a family home a few doors down, walked into the parents room whilst they where sleeping waking the house then out ran out the house.
A 999 call was raised and police arrived within minutes, a male walking towards the fields was arrested and stolen items recovered.
