Lulworth Road closed by cops after cars collide

Police have closed Lord Street West and Lulworth Road this morning.

Traffic on Lord Street near to Duke Street is currently at a standstill after a two car collision nearby.

Police have closed off a section of road between Lord Street and Aughton Road after an MG and a Vauxhall collided.

Its thought one car was struck on its passenger side causing a serious amount of damage.

The road remains closed while police await a recovery vehicle.
