A Good Samaritan has contacted OTS News to try and reunite an expensive pack of second class stamps with their owner.
The bundle of stamps, which have a value of nearly £70, was found outside Waterstone’s book store this morning just after 11am.
Luckily for the unsuspecting owner, the bundle was recovered by a kind hearted Samaritan who has now turned them into Southport police station.
They have asked OTS News to issue an appeal to let the rightful owner know where to collect them.
They said “I came out of Waterstones and this caught my eye because of the iconic blue Royal Mail colouring.
“I know how expensive stamps can be and there were quite a few books in the bundle. I would guess they’re worth about £70 altogether so somebody is definitely missing them.
“I will take them to Southport police station and I hope the rightful owner sees this to claim them.”
