Lord Street revealed as ‘most ticketed’ road in Sefton

Lord Street boasts the highest number of parking fines issued in Sefton, data has revealed.

Nearly 33,000 fines were issued by civil enforcement officers in 2022 according to an FOI by the Liverpool Echo.

The revenue from those fines was totalled at just under a million pounds.

It was revealed that Lord Street took the majority share of the total amount of fines issued, although a full figure was not published.

Formby also topped the list with hundreds of fines being issued in one day alone during a particularly warm summers day last year.

£960,000 was generated by parking fines for the council.
