Lord Street flats evacuated after blaze on 6th floor
Merseyside Fire and Rescue were called to apartments at 118 Lord Street, Southport last night to reports of a fire on the 6th floor (Sunday 29 April 2018).
Four appliances for Southport community fire station arrived at the scene at around 11:30pm and evacuated residents from the building.
The incident was under control shortly after midnight and residents were allowed back into the building.
A residet told our reporter that no one required medical assistance.
