Lord street closed after two car collision.
Traffic has ground to a halt on Lord Street after a smash at the London Street junction, Tuesday 21 August 2018.
The dangerous crossing has seen a number of smashes recently as impatient drivers speed through the crossing.
One of the cars has been immobilised and can’t move.
Emergency services are on scene but proper diversions are yet in place.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
