Local Olympic legend to open Birkdale Aldi
The opening of the Liverpool Road store will take place on Thursday, October 18th. The first 30 customers will be given complimentary bags full of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Danie Purvis, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics will officially cut the ribbon to declare the store situated on the old Birkdale trading Estate opposite Tesco open at 8.00am.
