Churchtown is set to lose another bank in May. Lloyds Bank has revealed plans to close down 200 of its high street branches, including its one in Churchtown village. The banking group had announced in September that it would close the branches, but initially refused to reveal which ones would be affected. The Cambridge road branch has now been named as set to close and local customers have started to receive letters from Lloyds informing them of the closure.
