Merseyside Police is working closely with Liverpool Football Club ahead of tomorrow’s derby fixture at Anfield.
Chief Superintendent Chris Markey said: “We will be working closely with the club over the next 24 hours. We will be monitoring the weather forecast and assessing any travel disruption.
“At this stage the game against Everton is planned to go ahead.
“We will be meeting with the club early tomorrow (Sunday) morning and fans will be updated as soon as possible.
