Liverpool Road closed after motorcycle RTC

Police and emergency services rushed to Ainsdale this afternoon after a biker was struck in an RTC.

A car collided with a motorcycle near to the Chapelhouse on Liverpool Road in Ainsdale just after 12.30 this afternoon.

Paramedics and police have been called to the scene and have closed the road in both directions.

The biker is receiving medical attention on the carriageway but their current condition is unknown.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes out of the village
