By now, you’ll have realised gin is the big craze of autumn/winter 2017.
You can’t seem to move for adverts for the stuff, with the spirit now boasting its very own festivals in Coventry dedicated to it.
Now, a popular supermarket is getting in on the gin action – but with a twist.
You see, Lidl – which operates stores across Coventry – has launched TWO pink gins.
The Hortus gin liqueurs are available in two different flavours – Rhubarb and Ginger or Scottish Raspberry – with each one hand crafted and traditionally distilled in copper stills.
They cost just £11.99 each.
The new editions will join the Lidl’s own-brand artisan gin range, which includes the Hortus Original London Dry Gin and seasonal Hortus Oriental Spiced Gin and Hortus Sloe Gin, all of which cost £15.99.
Gordon’s, meanwhile, has launched its ‘premium pink distilled gin’ exclusively in Tesco .
The limited edition pink gin is now available in Tesco for just £13 and we can imagine you will be seeing it everywhere over the summer months.
The new drink is sweeter than the original, comes with a rose colour and has a more subtle taste of juniper berries.
The premium pink distilled gin is said to be “crafted to balance the refreshing taste of Gordon’s with the sweetness of raspberries and strawberries with the tang of redcurrant”.
The drink has been launched for gin drinkers to enjoy a sweeter version of the popular drink.
It is set to sell out quickly as the gin craze continues to sweep the UK.
With its extremely reasonable price tag, and being easy to pick up from your local Tesco we can imagine it will take the UK by storm.
