Letter to the editor | Scum terrorising Southport

An open letter to the vandals of Southport.

I am frankly disgusted that your idea of fun involves smashing windows under the cover of darkness and cheap Halloween masks.

I can only hope that by smashing the big bay windows of BHS you’ve sustained some injuries and find yourself now scarred for your own stupidity.

I weep for those weak minded individuals who say it’s all the fault of the patents.
It is not.

The blame should fall on those committing these unwanted acts of vandalism and I implore anyone who sees this happening not to bother calling the police, but to issue a firm smack around the head like I would have received in my day.
