Nice to see the police on Ainsdale’s beach today keeping an eye on things.
However, these riders had a wee bit of trouble getting their trusty, yet rather reluctant, steeds to cross a tiny trickle of water.
The riders urged the horses to bravely take on the little stream and cross it. The response from the horses was to indicate to their riders that they were having none of it!
Nevertheless, success eventually came and the constabulary’s cavalry finally crossed the watery hurdle.
Without further delay, the dynamic equine duo trotted off towards Southport to take on whatever criminal activity may come their way.
Dreams of crossing Becher’s Brook at the Grand National may have to wait.
