Lazy binmen leave Marine Lake to overflow with rubbish

Lazy binmen are being slammed for not cleaning up after takeaway tossing teenagers.

Bins around the Marine Lake are overflowing with rubbish, which is now being blown into the lake, because they are not being emptied in time by lazy binmen.

One pictured bin is stuffed full of takeaway boxes from KFC and McDonalds on Ocean Plaza and people are just leaving piled up empty food boxes next to it instead.

One resident said “This is some of the litter from a walk by marine lake all of which seems to be coming from macdonalds and KFC. 

“Surely the council should be enforcing them to clear this on a daily basis as a lot of it will end up in the lake, it’s disgusting!”
