Trattoria 51 has once again joined forces with Big Comedy for this year’s Southport Comedy Festival.
Following a successful previous three years collaborating with the comedic company, the traditional Italian eatery, located at 51 Promenade, is set to host an evening of stand-up accompanied by a two-course feast on Monday, October 9.
During the evening, guests will be in for a ‘whole lot of laughter’ courtesy of host Brendan Riley and comedy performances from Jamie Sutherland and Andy White.
Restaurateur Attilio Sergi said: “Having hosted the Southport Comedy Festival for the past three years, it’s a real honour to once again welcome the event to Trattoria 51 and welcome guests to enjoy a night packed with merriments and laugher amongst family and friends.
“Last year, Trattoria 51’s involvement with the festival was a sell-out so it’s certainly rewarding to see our event put smiles on the faces of all our guests! It’s a fantastic chance for us to welcome both new and familiar faces to our venue, and to enjoy an evening filled with food, fun and fits of laughter.”
Trattoria 51, located on Southport’s famous promenade, serves a wide selection of authentic Italian dishes including pizza, pasta, steak and fish, all of which have been created with home-grown recipes.
Big Comedy is responsible for some of the finest comedy nights in the UK and is the brainchild behind the annual Southport Comedy Festival.
Attilio added: “In previous years when we have collaborated with Big Comedy, we’ve had a great deal of fun both behind the scenes and on the night itself. We hope that our collective efforts will mean that there’s not a dry eye in sight!”
The evening will take place on Monday, October 9 from 6:30pm at 51 Promenade, Southport. Tickets include a live comedy show together with a two-course meal and are priced at £20.
