Christian Reilly, Ian Cognito and Tom Taylor
Christian Reilly is one of the country’s top headline comedians. He’s garnered a reputation for barnstorming performances and leaves audiences on a laugh packed high. He’s also won the incredibly prestigious Perrier Award in 2001 for his part in “Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw”. Subsequent CD and DVD releases followed along with globetrotting around the world three times and performing to great accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand as well Britain. Other notable highlights he’s enjoyed that many a top comedian would be jealous of include: Appearing on stage with Seinfeld star Michael Richards and getting on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Conan O’ Brien’ (one of the biggest TV shows in the USA). He’s also had his own BBC radio show with the hugely-talented and multi-award winning TV comedian Richard Herring: ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ and is widely regarded as an exciting and reliable pair of comedic hands to get any crowd rolling around with laughter.
‘If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re a Christian Reilly fan already’ The Guardian
Ian Cognito has been banned from more comedy clubs than any other comedian in the country. Outspoken, opinionated his take on the world will have you convinced and convulsed (with laughter). As a result he’s been described as ‘the comedy equivalent of Keith Richards’ but you could just as well choose of the devil may care hell-raising rock star as he’s a funny version of all of them rock n’rolled into one! Widely regarded as one of the best comics on the national circuit, a veteran who clearly knows what he’s doing as he spits his darkly humorous vitriol over an unsuspecting but always impressed crowd. He really is a total one off and gets belly laughs all the way through his madly enjoyable rants.
“Cognito’s indignant polemic is always riveting. Share his inspired madness.” – William Cook, The Guardian
“Cognito puts them all in the shade.. Just stunning.” – Phil Daoust, The Guardian
Tom Taylor is somewhat of a one-off phenomenon on the comedy circuit with a brand of musical comedy that is smart and silly in equal measure. His style is certainly unique and he reels off an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.
“Immediately caught my eye” – The Guardian
