Land off Bankfield Lane Planning Application To Be Considered Wednesday 29th August
Plans to build hundreds of homes on the Greenbelt land off Bankfield Lane will be debated by Sefton Council’s Planning Committee, Wednesday, 29th August at 6.30pm.
The meeting is being held at Bootle Town Hall. The more people who turn up, the bigger message it will send to the Committee.
Local resident, Bob Burns is arranging a coach from Churchtown to Bootle Town Hall, leaving at 5.15 from the main entrance of The Botanic Gardens and returning (hopefully!) at about 9pm (or whenever we are finished) at £5 per person return. If there is sufficient demand, £5 will cover the cost of a 53 seater; however, he is slightly reluctant to commit unless he is sure there will be enough folk.
If you are interested, please let him know by Monday.

Local Liberal Democrat Councillors John Dodd and Daniel Lewis have consistently opposed the development plans, highlighting issues with infrastructure and drainage and numerous other concerns. Japan Knotweed is on the proposed site.
