Colman’s Mustard recently launched their ‘Local Legends’ campaign and Kellen’s Butchers Southport were one of 150 small local food businesses around the country to be selected for inclusion in the campaign which ran up until Easter.
The aim of the campaign was to demonstrate the condiment brand’s support for the nation’s local food businesses, while raising awareness of them within their communities.
The selected businesses ranged from farm shops to fishmongers and everything in between, with the names of the businesses being included in bespoke advertising posters and digital billboards in 600 different locations across the country.
The adverts appeared on sites near the shops, reminding residents to get out and support their local businesses.
Coleman’s was founded in Norfolk in 1814 and is owned by foods, home care and beauty products giant Unilever.
Kellen’s of Upper Aughton Road were extremely proud to have been selected as one of the businesses to be supported by Colman’s as part of the Local Legends campaign and were featured on digital billboards throughout the town.
