Delighted takeaway owners say they have finally outfoxed a huge pest which has been plaguing them for some time.
Late last year OTS reported that a urban fox was wreaking havoc outside the back of restaurants and takeaways on Eastbank Street.
But now owners of a takeaway on the street say they have finally got rid of the problem although they didn’t say how they did so.
The fox had been ripping up beanbags and covering the street in litter in it search for food.
Many residents reported seeing the fox is far away is Scarisbrick new Road and in the surrounding areas and it’s not known if there are more around.
