Merseyside Police traffic officers closed Scarisbrick New Road in Southport night in both directions after joyriders smashed into four cars near KGV before fleeing the scene, Sunday 6 September.
Contractors from FMC recovery cleared the scene of broken glass and other debris.
One reader told OTSnews:
“A car speeding SAAB(below) clipped the first car, smashed into the back of the second car, flipping that into the third car and stopped their car then ran towards the hospital”
