JOB VACANCY | Cook/Cleaner for Southport FC First Team

Southport FC are looking to recruit a cook/cleaner for our full-time first team squad. The post will be located at our training ground in Skelmersdale. The salary for the post is £7.83 per hour.

Core days during the playing season (August to May) are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s, 8am to 2pm and during pre-season (June and July) are Monday through to Saturday at varying times.

Key tasks include:

• Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy.
• Prepares food (meals) to the specifications of the players.
• Prepares breakfast before the arrival of the playing staff (9am).
• Prepares lunch for the playing staff (12:30pm).
• Makes adjustments to the food items to accommodate players with allergies or specific diet concerns.
• Operates various kitchen appliances, such as a blender, oven and grill.
• Manages cleaning designated facility areas at the training ground. For example, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.
